Materials used: oil paint on kitchen ceiling light fixture with dry flowers
​Description: "Repose in Remembrance" is a painting meant to illustrate the beauty and a sense of honor even in the afterlife. The Samurai were people who dedicated their lives to honor.
I wanted to express that we should be like them to respect others both in life and death. It symbolizes how we must celebrate nature and how we will long for it when it is gone.
