Title: The Scream of 2021

​Materials: pine needles, glue, red acrylic, and homemade air-dry clay​

Description: “The Scream of 2021” is a picture inspired by Edward Munch to express horror due to COVID-19 outbreaks. In it, I used materials like pine needles, glue, red acrylic, and homemade air-dry clay. The pine needles were salvaged from the tree outside my house, which was ironic since we weren’t allowed to go outside. It made me realize how much I missed being outdoors, and I was worried about it disappearing in the future.
